The does available in the ADGA/4H – Show list are does that we feel will do well in a show ring based on the genetics and conformation. Performance herds & families that show will get preference to these does. We would love to see these does in milk in the future as it provides great feedback to us as a breeder when we can see the improvements in the bloodlines of our herd. Registration/Transfer will be completed at time of pick up once payment is completed. Fees will be paid by buyer totaling $23 – Registration Fee of $15 + Transfer Fee of $8. Mercy is a very beautiful doe with a chill personality. Unfortunately, she’s got a few things keeping her from shining in our herd. We also have several of her very close relatives and thus, we’ve decided that if the right herd wants to work with her, she should have the opportunity to excel. She has amazing potential in the show ring (1x RGCH) and unfortunately was excused due to height from the other ring but the judge loved her! She’s taller – just made height at LA in 2024 but you’ll need to keep up on her feet – something to consider for showing. Mercy has rocked on milk test with her highest being 7.7 lbs! She could likely could be Top 10 if you could do a 305 day lactation. She takes a while to dry off with her level of production – was still milking 5 lbs at 126 DIM. Mercy is currently dry (missed the window for our kidding cut off window this year) and missed last year’s breeding – was short cycling. She didn’t short cycle this year. So, if you’re willing to work with her, give her some quality time with a buck and keep her feet trimmed, you could have a lovely doe in your herd. Chari is a very impressive yearling first freshener. We could tell that her teats would be large and very well placed even as a kid. She didn’t disappoint! She’s got a lovely mammary and she’s go the GA to go with it. It’s really hard to let her go but we can’t keep them all. She did kid with a single buckling and her production is quite well coming in a 3.1 lbs at 34 days in milk. I expect for her continue to be a good producer as she matures. She does walk well on a lead, has not been shown yet, but I think she’ll do well! If she’s still here at the end of May, she’ll be going to her first show in MD. Pick up would be available at the show. We like to sell our goats in pairs so Grace would be available with her.

We can always wether bucks in this list but we would really like to see them go to breeding homes. As a breeder, we follow the genetic improvements in the goats that we breed and sell. The goats available in HOME MILKING list are goats that we feel will do well in a pet home atmosphere but still be a family milker but not be competitive in the show ring. They will be sold as either registered or unregistered does.

The goats available in PET WETHERS list are goats that we feel will do well in a pet home. They will be sold as unregistered goats and if not already castrated, will require castration after 12 weeks of age. Depending on the timing of the wethers leaving our farm, castration will be available at buyer’s expense. Estimated cost is $30 + farm call ($80-$100). If possible we can split the farm call cost if we have the vet out for additional services. You also have the option to have your own vet complete the castration at your farm and at your expense.
