1️⃣BETTER WAYZ MERCY ME 6*M GEEE 87 - $600💵
Dam: SG Better Wayz Sirocco’s Grace 5*M 90 VEEE
Sire: SG Old Mountain Farm Elton Jay ++*B ELITE
This is a huge opportunity IF you're willing to take a chance on her... Mercy is a very beautiful doe with a chill personality. Unfortunately, she’s got a few things keeping her from shining in our herd. We also have several of her very close relatives and thus, we’ve decided that if the right herd wants to work with her, she should have the opportunity to excel. She has amazing potential in the show ring (1x RGCH) and unfortunately was excused due to height from the other ring but the judge loved her! She’s taller – just made height at LA in 2024 but you’ll need to keep up on her feet – something to consider for showing. Mercy has rocked on milk test with her highest being 7.7 lbs! She could likely could be Top 10 if you could do a 305 day lactation. She takes a while to dry off with her level of production – was still milking 5 lbs at 126 DIM. Mercy is currently dry for the 2nd year now. The first year she missed the window for our kidding cut off and was short cycling. She didn’t short cycle this past year but again, she didn't settle. We tried to get her to settle this spring and it didn't take. She also put on a little weight being with all the milkers on alfalfa this spring so guessing that's not helping either. She's on a diet and back on orchard grass hay so working to get her weight down. So, if you’re willing to work with her, give her some quality time with a buck and keep her feet trimmed, you could have a lovely doe in your herd. Or, keep her kids and increase production in your herd! Mercy will not be sold at regular price since we understand it's a gamble.

2️⃣GOATS@GRACE HILL H BO-KATAN - $550💵
Dam: Goats@Grace Hill HS Foxglove 6*M VVVV 86
Sire: Kyeema Ridge Hurricane +B VEE 90
Bo-Katan (aka Bo) is maturing so nice and she’s a nice improvement over her dam. It’s truly a hard decision to let her go. Recently, we took Bo to a show and she didn’t really place well. It was a surprise to us because at her last show as a junior, she did great! On Bo’s first kidding, she had a single buckling and she had a tear at the edge of her vulva and it seems like ever since that, she gets a little worried about what you are doing ‘back there’ and she tucks her butt under and squats. Well, as the judge was walking behind her to feel her udder, SQUAT! (Doesn’t really look nice in a show ring.) We were so disappointed because she stands lovely for pictures. At home everyday, she comes out, jumps up on the stand, puts her head in the headlock and eats. No problem! As long as she knows we’re behind her to milk her, she stands just fine so it’s not an every day issue. I run my hand down her back and she doesn’t squat. But, out of her own space, get near that back end and the squats come back. It’s truly a shame but we keep a small herd to show and if she’s not able to handle shows, we don’t need another brood doe. Bo is on target to earn her milk star in September 2026 so if she is still here by then, she’ll get it. If you’re a milking herd and want to finish her star on your own herd testing, that works, too! Her teats are long and easy to hand milk. She’s milked twice a daily with a milking machine and hand striped so very comfortable with either. Bo does have blue eyes (if that’s your thing) and she’s kidded just fine both kiddings, all bucks so far. (That’s great if you want to create a future herd sire!) She’s a bit of a helicopter mom but a really good one. Her kids are well fed and don’t require much. Bo keeps tabs on kids so if you need a good dam to raise her kids, Bo is your girl!

3️⃣GOATS@GRACE HILL HS HOT MOCHA - $650💵
Dam: SGCH Better Wayz Swiss Mocha 4*M EEEE 92
Sire: Better Wayz Hammer In The Sky *B VVE 88
Hottie is currently a dry yearling. We have her littermate sister and we always knew that we’d only keep one. We wanted to freshen them both and pick the best one but that’s proving harder with life’s commitments. We can’t freshen them all and Hottie has already missed out on being bred last year. She’s got such potential and we’re sure we’ll be disappointed that we didn’t keep her but we really keep a small herd and she deserves to have a performance herd where she can excel! Hottie is sweet and easy to handle. She was hybrid raised so not a full on bottle baby obnoxious attitude but also not a dam raised goat. She comes up to us daily to get pet, loves cookies, and is stand trained to eat. She has not had the opportunity to show but with some practice, she could be.

who took GRAND CHAMPION, getting his first Champion leg at 2 yrs old!
Peter is the full sibling to our girl, Goats@Grace Hill HS Biscotti who also placed at another show on the same day with a 4th, 2nd, & 1st. These young goats have a bright future, I think!

We had a great time at the MDGA show on Saturday showing our goats and catching up with friends! No ribbons but we were very excited to be in the CHAMPION LINEUP IN ALL 3 RINGS! Our girls are slow to mature so we're finally seeing some of them mature to be competitive. We love the longevity of our herd and we'll take that over quick to mature any day. We even brought Swiss Mocha out just for fun... she's now 8 years old & still looking fantastic. But those younger girls are the hot ticket these days, so no ribbons for her. That didn't stop her from strutting around the ring one last time in the champion challenge! Congratulations to all! It was truly a competitive show and we are blessed to be part of a great little goat community!!

Dam & Daughter pair, both in milk currently but will be dried off ASAP unless sold and picked up quickly. Currently milking 11 and my hands & shoulders are not happy about it. Once their milk test is confirmed at the lab, we will need to dry off several goats. These girls are ready to go and can stay in milk as long as they are picked up sooner rather than later. We will be travelling to MDGA show and can glady bring them along. We're near Auburn, PA so local pick up is also an option.
Grace is a little tank of a doe with such production for her size. She's shorter in height (one of our smallest). Her appraisal score as a 2yo FF was very exciting - Very Good in General Appearance, Dairy Strength, Body, Mammary, Head, Back, and Rump. G in Front Legs, Rear Legs, and Feet. RUH of 39!! Foreudder of 38! So why on earth are we selling her??? One of the biggest issues for us is her height. We do like our does a little taller and it's hard to manage both really short and really tall goats in the same setup. Grace also doesn't like to show and we really only want to keep a small number of goats to show. She will walk with her head up without a collar but the moment she feels that collar, she drops her head. I have videos to show this! Grace is a great mom, has had twins/triplets and easily feed them all. This year, she had a single buckling and was gracious (see what I did there 😉) to help feed some quad kids for us. She loves kids so on the stand, she will let the other kids drink. Great if you need some extra help!! She milks out so nicely!!! She'd make a great brood doe or even just a milker... she milks!!!! Grace is smart and she's a good girl... doesn't really fight with anyone. She's just motivated by food.
Chari (Car-ee) is her daughter from Versace and man, the GA that he gave her is clear when looking at the two side by side. Chari is much taller than her dam, Grace but we need someone to be Grace's buddy - we owe her that!! Chari's FF udder is lovely and her teats are huge! She has such soft udder texture and she's got great stand manners already. She will lift her leg for you but I keep telling her she doesn't need to. 😆 Chari has not been to shows yet but she does walk just fine on a lead. She kidded with a single buckling this year (bummer) and I didn't milk her as early on as I should have. She's doing well for that but I do think her production will be even better next year! She is an excellent mom and she even played with her buckling by hopping at him and chasing with him. He was so well fed (she's got some good butterfat) that he ended up with a fat pouch under his chin. 😆 Chari will be into whatever you are doing. She wasn't a bottle baby but she acts like one and her dam raised buckling was the same! Super friendly!!
